Nella prima parte dell'intervista Laura Romanò illustra i punti salienti della riforma che interessa il mondo della ricerca universitaria, la situazione attuale contrattuale e lavorativa dei ricercatori e le prospettive future che avrebbero i ricercatori se il Ddl Gelmini venisse approvato alla Camera. Infine la ricercatrice ci spiega i motivi che hanno spinto i ricercatori dell'Ateneo di Parma, e non solo, a dichiararsi "indisponibili" per lo svolgimento della didattica ordinaria per l'anno accademico 2010/2011, specificando che la protesta dei ricercatori non è una battaglia corporativa, nè si limita ad una richiesta salariale e giuridica. La battaglia dei ricercatori si scontra direttamente con i problemi legati alla precarietà lavorativa e ai tagli che colpiscono tutto il sistema formativo.

Nella seconda parte dell'intervista Laura Romanò si sofferma sulla situazione dell'Università a livello locale: ad oggi i ricercatori coprono il 30% dei corsi delle nostre Facoltà. La loro astensione alla didattica a partire da ottobre 2010 potrebbe significare la cancellazione di gran parte dei Corsi di Laurea.
